omg. this is sooooooooooo amazing.
That girl is talented isn't she? (never saw her work before) and also it seems she's very pretty and a good cosplayer too. lol a lot of burden for one girl to carry. But your "coloring" and all the things you did to enhance her work, well holy crap this is great.
Too often coloring is schlocky here on DA (too high key, unrelated color families, overall plastic-y look etc), or the backgrounds overwhelm, etc.
While it's true I would say this image is really maxed-out, like it flirts with the limits of what an image can safely hold without being "too much" but it does not go past the limits at all, it just is very exciting. so it's really an awesome success.
All the areas of transparency and glowing-effect are so pretty, and the overall composition and movement of the lines is like wheeeee
the opposite of the too static dead-figure-on-a-page thing (one of my own problems *sigh*). And there's the nice metal-y-ness of the stick thing she has (I dunno sailor moon stuff)
and yeah okay i'll stop, and sit pouting in a jealous funk over yer mad skills now

you know.. when I first started this account I wanted to try some "pure" line art. hmm i dunno if I'll get to that any time soon, but I DID want to try someday and if it looks okay maybe you would consider coloring it? i don't color like this O_o and I'd be curious how that might look on my own drawing (and btw i would draw a female )

I did had a hard time deciding on the background. Had to create that symbol myself LOL which drove me crazy.
LOL and I know what you mean by maxed out LOL I was taking things out, placing new ones LOL me, myself and I had plenty of fights over the elements and colors XD

I'm awful at making sketches LOL specially males :S have an extremely hard time doing male bodies... that's why you don't see me drawing them LOL XD. I've been trying to get the bodies on the faces I did for the supernatural characters but I guess I'll just have to do a composition of faces cuz bodies not coming up good at all...
So to answer the Q. Let me know when you want me to color a sketch for you, it might take me time since I'm always running between work and life but I'll sure be happy to.

Holy crap wow...I am....speechless here. O__O She just looks absolutely amazing! I love it I love it I love it. From the subtle changes (hair and lacey-esque detailing), to the sheer materials and the colours themselves, the timestaff and the background, the shines and crystal shards floating around...there isn't a single thing on here NOT to love! My eyes won't stay in one spot, there's just so much amazing detail to take in! You, my friend, are simply amazing and I have to say I am honoured that you took the time (and so much of!! o.O) to colour my work. *bows down* I can't believe you even made the background symbol yourself! It's gorgeous! lol I could rant for a few more hours about how pretty it is, but I'd start to sound redundant after the first 10 minutes XD.
